Tools
needed for installation:
Phillips
screw driver, power drill, ¼ in. & 1/8 in. drill
bits, 5/16 masonry drill bit, and silicone.
*For models C400 & C500 you may need misc. conduit,
fittings, and accessories.
Is professional installation necessary?
Its recommended, but if youre experienced
with a power drill and some basic tools, you can easily
do it yourself.
Before Starting installation:
Make sure you visually inspect where this product is
going to be installed. Next, inspect that the phone
box or phone system is NOT BLOCKED by any electrical
conduit or gas meters etc., that would interfere with
the installation of this product.
If there is a problem, contact an electrician or the
gas company for any modifications or re-locations.
Also check to see if the surface you are mounting it
on is relatively flat. If there are any flaws in the
surface, sand or modify the surface so that the product
fits well.
If there is a circuit breaker box or other object mounted
next to phone box etc., there must be at least 1.25
in. gap between the two.
